A New Start
Today is the beginning of a new road that I will start to follow. Last Tuesday I was hit by a car after I saw Best Coast at the Echoplex. I'm still working on my post about it. There is just so many things I want to share and I don't think it's ready to be published yet. After about a week of feeling sorry for myself today will be different. I've started it different already by not waking up at noon and instead at 8 in the morning, a very productive hour. Being home has opened my eyes to new things and realizations I've never came to before. I'm going to start living more and not let the world pass me by. I will also be cautious. Doing all the fun things a girl my age should be doing to have fun but also balancing some responsibility. Also I am desperate for a new job, and I will find one no matter how many places I apply to. Hopefully one will come through. I need a new job cause I believe mine is a big reason for my unhappiness and I want everything that has been dragging me down to be cut from my life. I will not let myself down anymore. Carpe Diem!

American Beauty
Definitely one of my favorite movies. And such a perfect ending to help you open your eyes to all the beauty in the world. His whole speech gives me goosebumps.

Crazy For You

The other day on her blog, Bethany Cosentino (lead singer from Best Coast) released a picture of their debut LP cover. She also posted a link to an article on Pitchfork about their debut album, which is expected to be released July 27!!! And the title is going to be 'Crazy For You.' The cat on the album cover is Bethany's cat Snacks with the California State shape towards his tummy. In the article the track listings are given & all the songs are new, not anything from their EP's or singles will be on there except "When I'm with You" as a bonus track. I'm really excited to hear all their new songs! On Tuesday June 8th they played at the Echoplex in Los Angeles for a welcome home show, along with Health, Indian Jewelry and Gold Panda. During their set they performed a good number of the newer songs along with their classics. It was a good show and Bethany has such a cute stage presence. She did not fail the crowd with her performance.
