There is seriously nothing better then waking up in the morning and seeing this adorable face greet me. My puppy is my best friend and he helps me not feel so alone in this world especially when the house is empty and everyone is gone. He always seems to know when I am sad cause he'll calm down from his rambunctious behavior and lay up against me and helps comfort me. He brings a happiness to my life that could not come from something or anyone else. I'm so happy to have him in my life.

Feel Good Inc. by the Gorrilaz brings back a lot of good memories for me, especially from sophomore year. The lyrics are brilliant, the instrumentals, the music video, everything. for me, it puts me in a good mood where when the chorus starts up i let everything flee from my mind and just listen to the lyrics. I would always listen to it on my ipod shuffle, while driving in the car with my mom and sister to huntington, beach or family vacation trips and taking in the different cities and scenery that passed us by.

I'm tired of fighting...

for a lost cause.

I don't think you need to be going through a break-up or heartbreak to have some kind of connection with Beck's song, "Lost Cause." Everyone has those moments where they're thinking if anything is really worth the trouble. Especially if it's something where you have done nothing but invest yourself in fully and you still get nothing. You're just "tired of fighting for a lost cause." His lyrics just help you realize no one really cares and that in this world you're are on your own.
